Summary
The 25 man roster starting the 2026 for the Minnesota Twins contains significant change amongst the pitching staff. DeVal, Harvey and Matheson are all free agent signings joining the rotation along with rookie Alexis Washington. The only returning member will be Francisco Duran who disappointed in 24 starts last year. He showed significant improvement through the winter though and will get another chance to shine.
The bullpen sees free agent signings Chris Copeland and Joe Allen joing the crew with Tyler Barksdal returning in the closer role.
On the offensive front, the only new faces are rookies Chris Spencer, who will platoon in the outfield, and Ryan Sinclair, who will start in the infield following impressive spring training performances. Dustin Collinsworth and Aderlin Rodriguez will be the main producers with the returning Travis Riley hoping to pick up his good form before injury ended his 2025 season.
The real future for the Twins though is in their minor leagues. Exciting futures for the likes of Ray Smith and Wayne Jensen lie ahead and with the Twins holding the first overall pick in the draft, many fans will be excited to see who the organisation pins their colours on come June.
Season Predictions
Dustin Collinsworth to break the .400 OBP mark
Aderlin Rodriguez to hit 100+ RBIs
Francisco Duran to have more wins than losses
Hunter Harvey to maintain a K/IP greater than 1
Ray Smith to make his SBL debut
