I have not preordered but I will buy it off of steam so it doesn't matter. If you guys are up for it, if you preorder it, not sure about now, but bought mine 2 weeks ago and you get a Steam license free with your preorder. So in my other league, we were splitting it between 3 people. 2 regular install licenses and then a Steam license.

Badass. Does that mean we can tell our scouts what to value and he will rate those players higher?

Badass. Does that mean we can tell our scouts what to value and he will rate those players higher? Youre asking the wrong person. Just copying and pasting. I deleted several features I didnt care about like anything historical.

I won't be in a financial situation to pre-order. Hopefully with financial aid spring term I'll be able to pick it up in April.

I like the sound of these two in particular:
- GMs now have much more personalized strategic tendencies - Recoded scouting algorithms, young players are more often overrated and veterans are more accurately scouted

Never considered "under age" style leagues. That might be pretty cool to test out sometime

There is a new patch out for 17, and one item Markus mentioned was interesting. Some folks in this league have noticed their scout just doesn't like pitchers. Well, the following update may just help with that fact when we move to 17:
Tweaked scouting of young pitchers, lessening the effect of scout preference a bit (high ability preference used to underrate pitchers too often)

I essentially have to be my own scout when dealing with pitchers. Which negates the use of a scout, then. So, i'm hopeful this might balance the field for GMs across the league that use a scout with ability vs. tools.
